Nduta Waweru is a journalist, communication specialist and published author of a collection of poetry called Nostalgia. She is an alum of the Young African Leader Initiative and 2021 Women in News fellow.  “My core business is to create awareness of the realities we are living in but in many cases, the reality can be filled with stereotypes, myths and misconceptions that hurt people more than help them. It is my role to educate the community on such issues, open their minds and change beliefs on what is and what could be. The Storify Africa Fellowship will allow me to do just that.
